We have two cats at home. Black Mazlinka and ginger Ťuťa. At first she was called Lens (in Czech cat = kočka, lens = čočka, so it was "kočka čočka"), then for some reason the children called her Mayonnaise, but in the end she took the name Ťuťa. As if it mattered. When we call her, she still pretends not to hear.
I made the house for them to try out a new way of finishing the surface and making a break in the sides of the cabinets. And also in the hope that our cats would stop hanging out in the bed and move into their own.
The first two goals were met, the third one not by any chance. Those of you who have cats know what I'm talking about. They decide for themselves where they'll hang out. And they decided to stay in bed.
But whatever. At least the house seemed like a good eye-catcher at the fair. So I'll keep it.
Someone suggested the name for the house in a Facebook discussion. He said it reminded him of the movie Florence Foster Jenkins with Maryl Streep. I really like the name.
